KSI vs. Joe Fournier: When KSI returns to the ring at OVO Arena, Wembley on May 13, Joe Fournier—possibly his toughest opponent to date—is his opponent.
The YouTuber, who fought Joe Weller and Logan Paul in amateur matches in 2018, has been at the vanguard of celebrity crossover boxing.
Since then, interest has increased, and KSI has participated in three demonstration fights and fought Logan Paul in a professional match, triumphing by split decision in 2019.
In exhibition, amateur, or professional bouts, KSI has never lost, but Fournier appears to be going to be a very tough test.
In 2015, Fournier began boxing professionally and was signed by David Haye’s Hayemaker Promotions, which is run by the former WBA heavyweight and undisputed cruiserweight champion.
He prevailed in nine of his ten close battles before being forced to withdraw from boxing due to a scaphoid injury and transitioning to business.
In September 2021, the 40-year-old also faced Haye in an exhibition fight, which he lost by unanimous decision after eight rounds.
KSI has been open about his ambition to face Jake Paul in the future, but he must first get past this Fournier-shaped challenge.
